The Lord will Preserve Us

The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand.

The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. Psalm 121 5-8

Father, our God and our Creator, we exalt You, there are not words to describe how it feels to have Your tender mercies. We thank You, Your love for us gives us hope because by this we know that You love our children. You preserve them in all their ways. You keep us, thank You for being a God who does not change but instead watches over us, we thank You, Your mercy endures forever.

Today we ask that You watch over our children and families with Your love and keep them from evil. Protect them from the darkness and show them the love that we experience. Give them a heart that knows You are watching over them and open their eyes to see Your hand preserving them. Heal them, heal their bodies, and heal their souls. Give them joy and confidence in Your great power that preserves them.

Give them shade against the cruel sun of this world and the darkness of the moon. Hide them in You.

Preserve our husbands with Your great power, let them see Your faithfulness to keep them even in the heat of the day or the darkness of the night, give them peace and trust that You watch over everyone.

Show our grandchildren Your peace and protect and preserve them today against the evil of our times. Shade them from the sun and the moon. Give them rest at night. Bless them and reveal Your love to their hearts. Father, we ask, we believe that they will stand and praise You with us in the house of the Lord.

Bless Israel with peace and salvation, return them to Your land.

Bless our nation with repentance and remembrance of Your great works. Shield us from the enemy and keep us.

We humbly trust You, In Christ alone.
