His Spirit is upon Us.
As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.” Isaiah 59: 21
Father, our God, our Holy Creator, we come before You this morning with a humble heart. We ask that You forgive us of anything we have done or are doing that is separating us from Your mercy and grace.
We ask that You write the Word on the hearts of our descendants. Lead them into right relationship with You and let them discover Your love. Forgive them Father and restore them to the destiny You have for them. A destiny of speaking Your Word and believing in their hearts the glorious promise of Jesus. Let the Word never depart from their mouths and their hearts be full of grace and forgiveness for those who have wronged them.
Give them the hope of their callings and give them the freedom to walk in the plans You have for them. Let them stand before You in peace and be set free from the law of sin and death walking in the grace and forgiveness of the Cross. Bless them, heal them and deliver them today. Be glorified in them and let them call You King of the universe and Lord of their hearts.
Give our husbands the Word, let it flow out of their hearts and show them the promise of Your Word, the promise of freedom and the plans You set before they were born. Bless them, heal them and give them a hunger to speak the Word over their children and grandchildren.
Write the Word on the hearts of our grandchildren and always let the Word flow from their mouths. Surround them with truth and give them teachers who will speak the Word over them. Show them Your forgiveness and let them fulfill the promise You gave, that the Word would not depart out of their mouths all their days. We thank You and we say, “glory to God on the highest.”
Bless Israel with peace and protect them from the enemies as You fulfill Your covenant with them.
Bless our leaders with a vision of Your Son and give us a hope for the future. We ask because of Your promises and we believe.
In Christ alone
