The Law of the Lord

Psalms 19:7-8 The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart.

Father, Your Word is beautiful, it makes us wise and full of joy. We see the beauty of the Word, and we want our children and families to join us studying the Word.

We pray that You give them a hunger for the Your ways and let them find a refreshing to their hurts and disappointments. They have the Word in them, hidden in their hearts. We ask that the Word accomplishes life and peace in them. Father, give them the joy of following You.

Let Your wisdom replace the world’s ideas of truth. Father, let them recall the Word when they don’t expect it. Let it bubble out of their hearts during the day and in their dreams. Your Word is powerful; we ask that Your power heal them, encourage them, and transform them.

 We pray for the peace of Israel and for Jerusalem to be saved. Give the leaders courage and wisdom to know that You will honor Your promises.

Our national leaders’ hearts are in Your hands, turn them to Israel to bless and not curse. We repent for our nation, and we desire to see Jesus, come quickly, Lord Jesus, come quickly.

Father, stir the Word in our husbands’ hearts and give them hope and peace. Refresh their souls and give them a desire for the Word. We pray that they keep it in their minds as they go through the day. Heal them and set them on a path of studying Your Word that will reveal Your great love to them.

Bless our grandchildren with someone who will share the Word and let them hunger for it.

Write the Word on their hearts so they may grow up with joy and peace as they think about it. Protect them from the evil of this world and be glorified in their lives. Save them and heal them. Make wise the simple.
