The Glorious One

For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye.  Zechariah 2:8

Our LORD, Yahweh, we are thankful that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises, You are a good God who has tender mercies for Your people. We pray that You protect Israel as this war continues, give them hope and strength. They are sheltering in bunkers, let them shelter in You, the most High God. Turn their hearts to You and give them the glory of knowing a risen Savior. Bless them today with peace and prosper them in this battle. Give them wisdom as they fight. Bless our families with the same desire to hide in You. Turn our families to You and let them know that You will deliver them from the battle and fight for them. Bless them and surround them, set a hedge around them in the peace of Your heart. Give them companions, co-workers, family who live a life set aside for You. Let them see the humility of Jesus in us. Show us how to be witnesses with our actions and not just empty words that are flung out in hurt or anger. Bless them today and give them the joy of knowing that You are their King.

Bless our nation with wisdom and resolve to do Your will. Forgive us for the sacrifices we have made to other gods and let us be forgiven and restored. Teach our nation Your ways and direct us to You and You alone. Heal us and forgive us, You are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, be the God of our nation.
