Sing with Joy

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return,

And come to Zion with singing,

With everlasting joy on their heads.

They shall obtain joy and gladness,

And sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:10

Father God, our Almighty Creator, we thank You for this promise, a promise of singing and everlasting joy, a promise that joy and gladness will rule and all the sorrow of this earth will flee.

We have hurts, disappointments, and sorrows here, and we are looking forward to singing in Zion. You have paid the price and You have sanctified us so we might be holy before You. Thank You for that promise. A God, a Father who always honors His promises to us, we worship You and we sing, joyfully, in anticipation of being in Your presence forever and ever.

We pray that our children and families are comforted by the hope and promise of joy and gladness. We pray that they have hope while still living in a world full of sorrow.

Father, we ask that they yearn for that time with You as much as we do. Give them an understanding of Your joy. Let them see joy in us now and give them hearts that yearn for that future. Stir them, deliver them, and bring them back to us. The ransom You paid for our joy was so great, we want our families to see it and know it. We pray that they know the amazing sacrifice of Christ and join us in singing Your praises forever and ever.

Father, give our husbands great joy in You. Give them the hope of salvation that ransomed them. Open their eyes to see You and serve You. Let joy overflow out of them into our lives. Bless them

Our grandchildren need the same revelation that gives them the overflowing joy and singing. Let their hearts sing at the wonder of You. Protect them and heal them, give them people who know that joy around them and let them be partakers of that redemption. Sanctify and heal them.

Bless them in all things and give them hope.

We pray for the peace of Israel. Let peace and joy be in their hearts and bless them with strength and wisdom.

Bless our nation with a repentant heart, forgive us and turn the hearts of our leaders to You. Let joy and hope run through our land as we sing praise to You.

You are the God who sanctifies us, we praise You.

In Christ alone
