Our Weapons are not Carnal

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Good morning, Father God, we love You.

We ask You to forgive us today of the things that separate us from You. Please open the hearts and minds of our children and families so they can know You in a deep way.

We thank You that our weapons are not pitiful and weak, but Your power works through us. You destroy the strongholds in us of fear, hurt, bitterness, anger, pride, and unbelief in our hearts, as we bring these thoughts into obedience to Christ. We bring our families before You and ask that they be convicted of sin and separation from You. Teach them to bring their thoughts into captivity and into obedience to You. Show us all how to cast down those thoughts that argue against Your goodness.

We ask that the mighty power of the Holy Spirit reveal the glory and perfection of Jesus and that they can walk with Him throughout eternity. Father, deliver them from evil and let Your love shine through us. We pray that their thoughts are directed toward You and they are set free. Father, we trust You and we give You all the glory in their salvation.

We pray that our husbands have the wisdom to cast down thoughts and to be confident that Your great love will protect them. Bless them as they pray for their children and as they fight the battle of the mind.

Show them that the war is in the heart and You have already given them victory over all things.

Our grandchildren, are learning how to live and to grow in faith. Protect them and teach them the joy of keeping their thoughts on You. Let their minds meditate on You, keeping their hearts pure and humble before You. Bless them..

Thank you for this wonderful gift of eternal life. Let us share Your love and mercy with others as we travel through our day. Strengthen us so we may meditate on You and Your Word. Show us how to honor You.
