Love God

Jesus replied; “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37

Father, You have told us to love You with everything we are. We ask that You help us to love You more today than we did yesterday. Teach us, shape us and mold us to love You with all of our being. Forgive us for putting ourselves before You. Forgive us for pursuing our children over You. Reign in our hearts. Let us love our children and families with grace. Give us minds to love You and souls that yearn for You.

Be first in our life and let us love with the love You have placed in us. Let it be Godly love and not a selfish love. Show others Your love through us and give us the grace to be forgiving and not controlling. Wake up their slumbering hearts with the overwhelming love of Jesus. Spread the love for Jesus into their lives and prepare their souls to declare the wonder of Your love.

Wake up their slumbering hearts with the overwhelming love of Jesus. Stir them and shake them up with the unmistakable conviction that You are love and they are loved by You. Give them a glimpse into the unknowable, that essence of Your majestic love that created us. Surround them with people who love You and guide them into friends and jobs and churches where that love is tangible. Heal their bodies and their hearts. Soothe the hurt and untangle the bitterness. Let them rise up and call on You as their God and salvation.

Bless Israel with strength and comfort, give them hope and reveal Christ to all Your people.

Bless our nation with that same love. We repent for our evil, and we turn, restore the land and let us be a light to the world. Give us a heart of love for our Savior.

You are love and we praise You because You are a God Who loves us.
