Hear the Word

So, faith comes from hearing, and hearing from the Word of Christ.” Romans 10:17

Good morning, Father, Abba, we come to You today with new understanding that our world is not as it seems. People we respect are angry and cruel. We are sad for them. We did not know so many were so broken, everywhere we look, we see broken, hurting people who need You.

Father, give us a hunger to hear Your Word. We want strong, bold, loving faith so we can share the freedom of Christ with the lost. Let us be ministers of truth and prepare their hearts to receive Jesus. Have mercy on them and deliver them from unbelief. Let us speak the Word to them in faith they will hear it.

We want our children and families to be free of unbelief, and we ask that they desire the Word and the faith that flows from it.

Deliver them from evil and give them hope. Surround them with people who love You. Give them new hearts, full of peace and hunger for Your Word. Heal their bodies and bring people and friends to them who know the Word and have faith that comes from hearing it.

 Bless Jerusalem with peace and salvation.

Heal our land and give us a repentant heart.

Let Your Word go forth out of the mouths of Your people and faith rise in our nation.

In Christ alone
