Love
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1
Father, things on earth pass away quickly, we thought the things we built would always be important. But they are nothing, a vapor, a mist. We are just fragile mortal humans.
Teach us Your love, our idea of love, is based on the fleeting nature of our hearts. Let Your love grow and sustain us. Give us Your enduring love so we might love others. We pray that our children and families have love for You and not the things that clang or shine.
Stir them, turn them to the eternal goodness of You. Let them seek You, Our God who is love. We pray that they cease from their own works and fall deeply in love with You.
Bless Israel with peace and the love of the Messiah, Jesus. Give them all the hope of Christ.
Bless our nation with Truth, let Truth be revealed and the hidden, seen. Deliver us from the hand of the enemy as we love You and follow You.
Your love is the joy of our lives, anoint us so we may proclaim the glory of our God Who loves.
In Christ alone
