Lord of the Hosts is our God

Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts: ‘The people of Jerusalem are my strength, for the Lord of Hosts is their God.’  Zechariah 12:5

Heavenly Father, we are joyful knowing that Your people are strong because You are their God. Strengthen our hearts to know You. We thank You that You are a God who keeps His promises and that You are our God. We are humbled by Your love that reconciles us to You, a perfect Creator. We thank You for Jesus and for grafting us into Your family.

We ask that our children and our families, become strong as they seek You and Your Son, our Yeshua. Let them live in You and grow in faith. Return them to their first love and give them a yearning to know You. The deception falls away, and truth is lifted up in their hearts.

Give them wisdom and discerning. Show them Your tender mercies and give them strength to stand against the enemy’s wiles. Reveal to them Your great power, show them the truth and rebuke the lies they are being fed.

We know You are a mighty God. We get impatient at times, but we trust, we rest and we believe that the God of Jerusalem, the God of the universe is also the God of our children’s hearts.

Bless our husbands and give them strength because You are their God. You sustain them and heal them. Give them the clarity to know that without You they are weak but with You they can be as strong as Jerusalem.

Show our grandchildren the way to be strong in You. Reveal the truth of Your character, a God who is longsuffering and who always fulfills His Word. Open their eyes to see the glory of this amazing release. Give them the wisdom to recognize You and to see Your promises to Your people be accomplished.

Raise them as mighty men and women who love You with a whole heart. Let us all come int the house of the Lord together and worship You, restore our families and bring healing to our hearts.

We pray for the peace and strength of Jerusalem. We pray that in the coming days; they will be saved and brought into Your Kingdom.

We pray for nation, we pray that our leaders will continue to stand with Jerusalem and see You, the Lord of Hosts as our God.

In Christ alone
