King's heart

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. Psalm 21:1

Heavenly Father, we are so grateful that You are a faithful God who loves us. We wake up to hear and read about events all over the world and sometimes we feel like the earth is groaning, waiting for the Prince of Peace.  Yet, we know that the rulers’ hearts are in Your hand. We know that You turn them as You wish. We thank You for the peace that we have knowing that You are always taking care of us, always merciful. This morning, knowing that You hold the king’s hearts in Your hands, we ask that You hold the hearts of our children. Turn them toward You and let them shout with the voice of triumph that freedom and peace have been won over their hearts and minds. Father, if you can turn a king this way and that way, we know that You are always working to turn our families to You. Bless them today, heal them, protect them. Father, set them on the solid ground of Your Word and place a hedge around them with followers of Jesus. Whatever it takes, Father, turn them to You.

Bless Israel with peace and comfort those who are grieving, bring them home from all over the world to worship You. Bless our nation and expose the sin and the rebellion in the hearts of our leaders. Turn them to You so that we might live a quiet and peaceful life before You.

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,

For wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons;

He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. Daniel 2:20-21

Father, Blessed be Your name, all wisdom and mighty are Yours, everything is in Your hands, our seasons, our rulers, and the times of our lives. We thank You that You are faithful to give us wisdom and knowledge when we come to You. We rest in the knowledge that all things are under Your power and we don’t have to strive and worry and fret, because You are the God and Creator of all. Show our children and our families the glory of a God who rules all Creation. Give them the peace they can have when they rest in Your great power. Reveal to them wisdom and knowledge, as they grow, give them more wisdom and knowledge so they  might know You. Make them wise and let the Word that is in them come alive to bring understanding to their hearts. Give them the confidence that the seasons are Yours and when the season comes for them to fall down before You, You will receive them. Bless them and heal them, free them from the enemy so they may live in peace with You forever and ever,

Bless Israel as they face the challenges in front of them, prosper them as the world starts to hate them, encourage them to gain wisdom and knowledge of You  so they may have even more.

Bless our leaders and our rulers with the wisdom of the most High God, give them more wisdom every day and let the knowledge of Jesus increase in this nation. Forgive us and heal us and give us the wisdom to seek You first.You are our mighty God and we worship You
