God's Handiwork

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

Father, our God, our Creator, we are amazed that You created us to do good works, and we are humbled that You planned long ago for us to do those works. Strengthen us and encourage us to do those good works today.

Let our good works be done in in our children today so they may experience joy in Your love.

Forgive us when we stumble in our words, and set them on a path to redemption. Heal them, comfort them, and stir them to You by the people You have placed round them.

We thank You that You give us people to show us the way and friends to love us when we fail at speaking to them in Your love and kindness. Give us wisdom to do Your will and courage to share Jesus with them. We have been timid at times and harsh at times, but Your Holy Spirit will guide us to new conversations of reconciliation and love.

Bless our husbands, with the courage to do good works, give them boldness with kindness to speak faith to the unbelieving. Let them lead our families with love and thank You for their health and peace.

Equip our grandchildren to walk in the paths You created long ago.

Give them favor and talents and opportunities to do those good works. Teach them Your ways and bless them with loving families. Protect their hearts and their minds from the enemy. Heal their bodies and strengthen their hearts to do those good works.

Bless Israel and Jerusalem with peace and give them salvation. We pray that they walk in the plans You prepared for them.

Protect our nation from the enemies within. Make our nation into Your creation and teach us to do good things, things that honor Jesus.

You have done a good work in us and we honor You.

In Christ alone.
