Joy!

The joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

We praise You, Father, when we become tired and weary, when we become overcome with the things of this world, we know that we have You and the joy that comes from being Yours. We sing, we praise, we love You, and we are strengthened by the joy that comes from our Lord. Fill our children and our families with Your joy and let them praise You and be glad. Let the joy overflow and let them take heart that You are their King. Bless them with hearts that speak Your name with love and laughter, bless them and keep them as they face the world. Let their voices sing the songs of victory, remind them of the times that You protected them and they didn’t know. Bless them with a joy that bubbles out of their mouths as they seek You. Father, they are Yours and we thank You.

Bless Israel with the saving knowledge of the Messiah, turn them to You and let them be healed and forgiven for the long years of rebellion.

Bless our leaders and our rulers with joy of knowing that He has purchased them and now we are free from the law of sin and death. Forgive our nation and heal us so that we might defend Your people. Bless us and we praise You , the One Who gives us joy.
