Unfailing Love

“Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I entrust my life.” Psalm 143:8

Father, Abba,

We ask to hear of Your unfailing love this morning because we trust in You. Show us in Your Word how to consider our children and families. Looking at our families, we see their rebellion and hurt. We want to trust You when they are sinning. Our lives are bound up in theirs. You grieved over Jesus and His pain. We grieve when our children and families are not trusting You. We weep over the destruction it brings.

Bring us the word of Your unfailing love and comfort us that their lives are in Your hands. You have a plan and a purpose for them and for us. Anoint us so we might bring Your love and healing to their hearts. Bless us with the peace and trust that only Your Word brings. We pray that they know Your unfailing love. Show them the way to go so they may entrust their lives to You.

Bless Israel and show them the way to follow Your love. Reveal to them that Your love sent them the Messiah. Open their hearts to receive Him and teach them to trust You.

We thank You for our nation. We thank You that we can pray, worship, and openly speak Your name. Give us the wisdom to trust You so we hear the word of Your unfailing love. Forgive us and heal us. You are the God who loves.

Have mercy on us.
