Two are better than one.

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up Ecclesiastes 4:9-10   

Thank You for giving us friends who understand our trials and our hurts about our families. Thank for the gift of having others lift us up when we are discouraged or tired. You created such beautiful relationships, and we praise You for the gift of having each other.

Bless our children with friends who are praying for them.

Place people around them who will tell the truth and encourage them to follow Jesus. We pray for friends who will pick them up and walk beside them toward You. We are humbled by those You put around us; we ask that You do the same miracle for our families.

Give them ministers who will edify them in faith and not encourage sin. Everywhere they look, let them see the glory of You. Give them friends and partners who will do the challenging work of pointing to You, in all things.

Protect them, deliver them, and give them friends like those You have given us.                  

We pray for our husbands. We pray that when they fall, we have the strength, grace and love to lift them up. Give them the same desire to lift us up when we stumble. We pray that they have friends they can trust who will share Jesus with them. Put someone in their lives who will be a friend no matter what and will always walk with them to the Cross. Bless them today with health and with friends.

Bless our grandchildren with faith and hope. Give them friends who see Jesus in everything around them. Bless them with someone who picks them up to walk toward You and not away.

 Bless them with strong friends who will stick closer than a brother.

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and we pray that You encourage them.

Bless our nation with faith that cannot be moved. Let us be united. Heal the divisions the evil one has brought so we might lift up one another.

You give us good things and You give us each other, we thank You.
