the Cross

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.  Galatians 2:20

Father, sometimes we don’t understand and we keep trying to reason our way into Your righteousness. We try and we try to be “good enough”. Thank You that You have a plan for us and the plan is to be crucified with Christ. We don’t have to strive and strain, but instead we can allow You to crucify us and our self-will dies. We want to live the life of faith even now, while still in the flesh, instead of the life of works. Jesus gave us Himself and we are grateful and sing of Your glory. Father, we for our children and families to lay down their own plans and schemes and live in faith. Father, have mercy on them and let them be crucified with Christ, so that He lives in them. Be glorified in them and let them grow in this grace and knowledge of the God Who cares and saves and sacrificed for their freedom. Bless them with health and relationships and peace. Give them lives lived in faith in Your Son, Who loves them.

Bless Israel with peace and prosper them as they fight. Heal their wounds and return their hearts to the God of Abraham, Isacc and Jacob.

Bless our nation with repentance and let us lay down our arrogance and be humble before a Holy God. We are alive because of Your Son, Jesus, we praise You

In Christ alone
