Steadfast

Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. James 5:11

Father, our miraculous God of the Universe, we are grateful that You are compassionate and merciful. You have a purpose for us, the purpose is for us to worship You and live with You forever and ever. We want to be blessed by You. We want to remain steadfast and enter into all the plans You have made. Bless us with resolve and the heart to wait and trust You. Teach our children and families to be steadfast before You and let them love You with a whole heart. We ask that You show them the joy of remaining faithful and never waver, teach them and let them walk in the blessing of Your great power. We pray that Your mercy and compassion will rule over their hearts and bitterness and hurt will be healed. Bless them and deliver them as they stand still in Your love. Give them a heart for the Word so they may grow strong. Show them Your purpose and let them be glad.

Bless Israel with peace. Let them be steadfast as they call on a Holy God. Remind them of Job and show them the purpose that You have placed in their hearts. Heal them and deliver them.

Our land has not been steadfast in our faith, forgive us for our sins and return us to You. Give us leaders and rulers who will see the purpose of Your plan, show our nation Your compassion and mercy.

We praise You for the steadfastness of Job and we ask, we pray and we seek to become as resolute as he as we serve You

In Christ alone
