If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet John 13:14

Father, our Lord and Teacher, washed the feet of the disciples, He served them, He chose to humble himself and serve His friends. We pray for a servant’s heart today. Give us the hearts to serve the ones who walk with us. Give us quiet and gentle spirits to share the gospel with others, let our children and families learn the joy of serving others.  Let us serve them. Instead of controlling or being in the position of authority with them, let us be humble and willing to wash them with the water of the Word. Forgive us for thinking we can change them, or that we can create in them a new thing. We ask that You transform them as we pray for them. We ask that Your Holy Spirit move in their hearts and You be their Savior and Lord. We pray for them; we petition You to move in their behalf and bring them to a place of submission to You and to repentance. We want to wash their feet as Your servants, not as their lords. We bless Your Holy name and we serve You today with our words and our hearts.

Bless Israel with peace and courage. Open their eyes to see You and heal their land. Protect them from the enemies who surround them.

Bless our nation, give us truth and wisdom to discern the lies and break the spirit of deception that moves over us during these times. Bless our leaders and let them fulfill Your purposes, bless them and keep them in all that they do, let it be in Your will.

We praise our Holy God and our Savior Who washed the feet of His disciples, always washing them with the Word.

In Your mighty name alone
