Sacrifice

"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before Me." Isaiah 49:15-16

Father, our faithful Creator and Abba, You have not forgotten us! We are comforted that You have compassion on us, we are engraved in the scars of Your hands, the kingdom of our hearts are always in Your thoughts. Father, You have not forgotten our children and our families, You have borne the pain of the nail scarred hands for them. You will never forget them, You are always looking on their hearts, taking the city and redeeming the time. We plead that today is the day of salvation and they know the comfort of a God who never leaves them and will always remember, even when they are walking away and not towards You. We pray that today they understand the faithfulness of a God who sacrifices and who has bought them with a price that we can never repay. Bless them and protect them, keep them in Your city and we trust that You will fulfill Your Word.

Bless Israel with peace, bless them with the knowledge that they are engraved on Your palms, let them see and be delivered. Bless our nation with wisdom and discerning, forgive us for the rebellion and apostasy, give us hope and restore our land to You.

We praise the God Who formed us, Who redeemed us and Who never leaves us

In Christ alone
