Rejoice

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Father, we thank You for all things, for food, for comfort, for family, for friends and for each other. We thank You for today’s circumstances. Even if today doesn’t feel like we want it to, we thank You for it. Since You are always with us can rejoice.

Thank You for our families and we thank You for the work You are doing in them and in us. We thank You for Your mercy and grace on their lives. Thank You for teaching us to trust You through the difficult situations. Thank You for working Your will in us through Christ Jesus every day. We believe that You are working in them, and we believe that You are bringing them into the full knowledge of the Saving Grace of Your Son.

We thank You for this light affliction, and we ask that You give us confidence and faith that You are working all things for good. Heal them and strengthen them to face the perilous times we face. Let us lay down our works and walk in Your joy.

Let us rejoice knowing that they are in Your hands and You won’t leave them or forsake them. Bless Israel with salvation and peace, protect them and open their eyes. Bless our nation with fresh revival and forgive us for the sins of our nation. We repent, heal us and restore us.
