Love the Word

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. Psalms 119: 97-98

Father, You have given us Your Word, we are thankful! Bless Your Holy Name! You haven’t left us without counsel and truth to guide us. We thank You for Your Holy Spirit, Who reveals the wonders of Your Son when we meditate on Your Word. You make us wise as we spend time with You considering the faithfulness and the glory of a Christ who loves us. You give us Your Holy Spirit to make us wiser than our enemies. Make our families wise, give them the desire for Your Word and quicken the Word that is already deep in their souls. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them the wisdom to discern the times and the seasons of this life. Make them wiser than the one who would destroy them. Heal their bodies and let the sharp, two-edged sword divide the truth in their hearts and convict them. Surround them with wise people who love You and can rightly divide the truth. Set counsel around them who mediate on the glory of a Risen Savior. Bless them and keep them from the enemy. Let them love You with a whole heart and love others as themselves.

Bless Israel as they fight, give them hope and wisdom. Turn their hearts back to You, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and let them declare You the King of the Universe. We bless them and pray for their peace and their prosperity.

Bless our leaders and rulers and show them the wisdom of mediating on Your Word, stir the Word that is deep in them and bring it forth as they rule us. Make them wiser than the enemy who lies. Father, we pray that we may live in a quiet and peaceful land.

You are God of all, and we thank You for giving us wisdom to know the Truth. You are ever faithful and kind to us and we praise You.

In Christ alone
