Persevere

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 

Father, there are many in trials today, there are many persecuted and beaten and grievously wounded that still call You LORD God. We have just a little light affliction here in a land of blessings and we complain and become discouraged. Let us persevere and never stop declaring Your mighty work in Jesus. Bless our children and families with faith and perseverance. Give them hearts that will stand with You even until the end. Shape them, mold them and make them into Your image and give them the desire to seek You every day. Tear out the roots of bitterness over past trials and place a new and fresh hunger for You. Let them be mighty men and women of God who will stand with You even when the world is against them. Raise them up to be steadfast believers so that they may receive the crown of life. We endure, we ask that they are strengthened to believe and endure. Place wisdom in them and give them the discerning to refuse the enemies wiles. Give them hope of salvation and walk with them through the trials of life. Strengthen their hearts and deliver them from the bondages that hinder them. Please heal their bodies and set them on a path to serve You.

Bless Israel and keep them from the enemy, preserve their faith and keep them in Your arms. Let them see and know Your mighty peace that is beyond our understanding.  Bless Israel as they fight. Direct their paths and keep them from destruction. Open their eyes to see You and give them peace.

Bless our nation with repentance and redeem us from the enemy.
