Peace

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21

Father, our God of peace, You brought our Lord Jesus back to life and He is our Great Shepherd, we ask that You equip us with good so we might love You and others. Work is us what is pleasing to You and be glorified in us. Equip our families with everything good so they may do Your will, and work in them so that they are pleasing to You. Sanctify them and transform them, through Jesus Christ, our Great Shepherd. Give them the heart to follow the Shepherd and learn of Him. Make them pleasing in Your sight and work in them until the day He returns. As they follow the Shepherd, protect them from the roaring lion and the lies and deceit of the evil one. Protect them and give them the comfort of laying down in green pastures, beside the still waters and be in the land of Your peace.

Bless Israel with Your presence and equip them to do Your will. Give them the power to love You and to love others, bring them comfort as they wait for Your revelation of Jesus.

Bless our nation with rulers and leaders who love You. Take the reins of their hearts and guide us into peace and quiet living. Bless our families as they raise children and have careers that they will be equipped to be Godly parents who please You.

You are the mighty God who saves, You raised Him from the dead, You have done more than our minds can understand to fulfill the eternal covenant, and we praise You and bow before the God of Peace.

In Christ alone
