Patience

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4

Father sometimes it is difficult to be joyful when we are discouraged by life. We have dreams and hopes of our children and families walking with us, serving You. We want them to know the God who gives to all liberally and without reproach. We want them to sing Your praises and fellowship with us. Father, we will wait and rest in You. We count it joy that while we pray, and while we are waiting, that You are working in our lives too. You are changing us, and forming us and making us Yours, perfecting us for Your service. Father, we thank You for this opportunity to trust You. While we sometimes are hurt or confused by the situation, we know that You are a God Who loves us. Instead of being unstable, tossed around by everything that comes along we are learning to trust You. We are learning to let patience have its perfect work and we are being made complete. Thank You for Your perfection.

Bless Israel and prosper them in the Word, protect Jerusalem, the enemy of lies is surrounding them and people are growing cold in their love for Your people. Comfort the, and strengthen them.

Forgive our nation for the sins of our hearts. You are the God Who will redeem us, turn us to You and have mercy on our land. Give our rulers and our leaders wisdom and lead them to Your perfect will.

We praise You and we thank You,

In Christ alone
