Overcome

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”  1 John 5:4

Father, everything is swirling around us, floods, earthquakes, scandals, lies, and wars. If it were not for Your faithfulness, we would drown in the onslaught. Open our eyes to see and know Your tender mercies are leading us to safety, for You have overcome the world. We, as Your children, have the victory of believing on Jesus.

Give our children and families strength and healing. We pray that they are born of You and overcome the world. Anoint them with faith to walk in the ministry You have placed in their hearts. Equip them to be Your servants and to speak about life to others. Hold them in Your hands and deliver them from the enemy. Set them free from the world and give them the desire to seek You.

Rise up in their hearts and be their God.

Bless Israel today with protection and a revelation of Jesus, Your Son. Give them the overcoming faith in the God Who has given them faith.

Destroy our enemies and protect our nation from the unholy alliances that threaten us. We turn to You and ask for Your forgiveness and seek Your wisdom and a heart of love for others. Let us, as a nation, overcome the world with faith in You.
