Living Water

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37

Heavenly Father,

We thank You that living water is flowing out of us, that you satisfy us with Your love. We humbly come before You with a grateful heart, lifting up our families to Your protection.

As Your Word says, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them," We believe that they have a thirst for Your presence and will turn to You as their source of life. Quench their spiritual thirst with Your living water, Lord, and fill them with faith that flows from within, guiding their hearts and actions. Keep them from deception and let the truth wash over them. We pray that rivers of living water flow from within them to their children and their friends and their communities.

Grant our children and families strength and wisdom to believe in You, that Your rivers of grace and love may overflow in their lives. Protect them, nurture their spirits, and lead them to a deep relationship with You, so they may experience the fullness of Your salvation. Thank You for Your unending promises and for the hope we have in Jesus.

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the salvation of Your people. Guide our rulers and give them the same living water, flowing out of their hearts and changing their lives.
