Little Children

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it. Luke 18:17

Father, You, our amazing Creator, we come before You today as little children, You are our King. We forget and think we have understanding, and we forget and judge others over trivial things, we forget and act as if we are rulers in a Kingdom that You created. Forgive us and let our hearts be humble as we approach the throne of Grace. As our hearts turn to You, we see the miracle of our own redemption and we realize we are incapable of saving ourselves, much less our families. We pray that the hearts of our families become like children. Open, unwavering, trusting in Your Grace and Your salvation, and not their own works. We pray that You forgive them of the rebellion and let them be innocent of pride and self-will. Let their sweet hands be placed in Yours and lead them to the fullness of Your glory in the Cross.

We pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. We ask that You strengthen their hands and humble their hearts so they may seek You.

Bless our nation with redemption from the evil one’s deception and lies. Bless our leaders and give us hearts that are humble and childlike before You.

We praise You, our King and we thank You for Your gracious Love.
