Light

Updated: Mar 20

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:3-4

Father, You, our Creator Who spoke light into the darkness, are a good God. Every word You speak is good and we are in awe of Your great power. You separated the light from the darkness and gave us life. We ask that You separate the light from the darkness in the hearts of our families. Let them clearly see the Light that shines and dispels the darkness. Give them discerning to know the difference between the darkness that would overtake them and the light that is good. Shine on them the light to see You. Give them the desire to seek the light and be laid bare before You, humble and contrite in their spirits. Protect them from the enemy who pretends dark is light and would deceive them if they didn’t have the promise of the Messiah, the Light of the World. You have spoken light and life over them and we believe that they are separated from the darkness. The darkness of our world today is growing, and it comforts us knowing that at Your Word, the darkness is dispelled. We are thankful our Creator, our God has given us the Light of the World, speak light over them. You have given us Jesus, our Savior, we praise You

Open the eyes of Israel that they may see the Light of the World and know that at Your Word, darkness is defeated. Encourage and comfort them as they wage a war against an enemy who would blind them with darkness. Shine Your light on them and let them know Your Son. Give our leaders and rulers the light and separate them from the darkness that is spreading over the world. Give them light to see the truth and give them the courage to defend Your Word.

We praise You and we bless You, our God who speaks and creates worlds. You are our mighty King

In Christ alone
