King of Glory

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.  Psalms 24:8

Our King, our Risen Savior, we greet You this morning with thanksgiving over the completed work of the cross. We are transformed and we are thankful that this gift is given to us for now and for all eternity. We come before You and ask that our families receive the fullness of this victory. The King of Glory is waiting for them to serve and we know hell and death have been defeated, that You are mighty and our families are safe in Your hands. We are in awe of the work that You are doing in their lives, in the deep parts of their hearts. We know that nothing can defeat our mighty Lord. We pray that they trust You and make You their King. Father, surround them and fight for them, for nothing can withstand Your great power.

Prosper Your people and Your land, please comfort the brokenhearted and soothe the ones who hear bombs all day and night. Heal their hearts and turn them to You as You bring them peace and prosperity to Jacob’s descendants.

Bless our nation and let us continue to stand with You. Give us leaders and rulers who desire the meat of the Word and not the milk only. Bless them and keep us in a quiet and peaceful land.

We praise our King, our Savior Who is glorified in all things.

In Christ alone
