Jerusalem

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.

May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”

For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”

For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity. Psalms 122:6-9

Father, this morning we pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may there be peace within the walls of your city and safety in the towers. Because of You we seek their prosperity and we are thankful that You, our faithful God will never leave them. Peace be within Jerusalem and let our nation continue to serve You. Forgive us for our rebellion and we thank You that we live in a nation today that does not curse Your people. Bless them and bless us as we navigate the coming days. Be glorified in the hearts of and lives of those who are watching, be glorified as the days count down. Bless our families, bless our children with the truth about Jerusalem and Your promises. The deception is already rising and those without You are blinded. Reveal to our families Who You are and give them wisdom to discern the lies and slander against You. Let them stand for Jerusalem and be blessed. You, our Holy God will never be defeated, You will fight for us, fight for their hearts and bring them to a place they can be blessed. Forgive them for their sins and bring them into Your glorious Kingdom. We praise You and we thank You for the times we are in, let us be walk before You in humility and faith.

In Christ alone
