He Rescues Us

He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters. He rescued me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me. Psalms 18:16-19

Father, we ask that whatever it takes, whatever the cost, take our children out of the many waters and rescue them. The enemy hates them, he hates us, and they are too mighty for us. But You O God You are mighty to save, You are their support, bring them out into a broad place and rescue them. You delight in our children and families. Let them delight in You. We see the signs of our times, and we know that our lives are fleeting, O God, You alone overcome their sin and their hurts. You alone can heal and set them free from that enemy who hates them.

Father, have mercy on them and save them.

We ask that those who are persecuted turn to You and receive the glory of Jesus. We pray for Israel and believe that You hand is on them and they will be brought into peace, bring them into Your love.

Forgive our nation of greed and corruption, we have turned from You. Reveal the truth and bring down the evil ones who would destroy us. Show us the truth and let us turn to You.

We trust You with our lives, we trust You with our children’s lives,

In Christ alone we plead,
