God can do all things

I know that You can do all things; no purpose of Yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2

Father, You have all things in Your hands, You spoke our world out of the void. You gave us stars and a moon and a sun. You gave us night and day. Nothing can stop Your will. We listen to You; we quiet ourselves and sit before You this morning and we ask. We ask for Your will to be done here on earth as it is in Heaven. Let Your will be done here and in our lives. We believe that Your purpose is for us to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our Father. Let us be Your servants who minister love and reconciliation to those around us.

We pray that our families become confident and sure that You cannot be overcome. Let faith arise in their salvation. Give them assurance that You cannot be defeated and You are in them. Heal the hurting and restore the relationships that are so broken that only Your will can make them new.

Father, have mercy on them, so they may rejoice and love and live as Your servants who share Your redemption. Send them spouses and jobs and friends who will edify them in Christ. Let them call You Lord and let them be Your people.

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the salvation of Your people.

Restore our country and give us repentant hearts, so we may turn to You.
