Do not be afraid

“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6 -7

 We are in awe of a God who knows and cares about us. You are not a God who is capricious or cruel. But instead, a God who knows every detail about who we are and yet, still sacrificed for us. You never change Your mind about loving us. You never reject us, even though You see our weakness, our every thought, and our sins. You love us.

Father, give us the humility to fear and to love You. Give us the freedom to walk in boldness to Your throne.

Show our children and families who they are in You. Let them see Your mighty love and tender care for them. We pray for a revelation of Your love for them, Your faithfulness. Free their hearts to understand the Your watchfulness over their lives. Break the yoke of bondage and show them the way to receive You. Give them a renewed heart. Send them someone today who will speak to them about Your glorious sacrifice.

Bless Israel with peace and give them wisdom to return to Your arms.

 Bless our nation with a discerning spirit to know You and to turn to You. Bless our president, our congress and our governors, our mayors, and our local officials with the wisdom of Your Holy Spirit. Give our judges throughout the land a heart that is turned toward You.
