Be strong

"Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6-8

Lord, our God, we are sometimes afraid, our hearts become weak when we are forced to confront the anger and the rebellion of our families, we don’t want to be separated from them. We love them, and You told us not to be afraid, give us the courage to trust You when the enemy rails at us. Give us the strength to continue to believe that You are working in their lives. Do not forsake us O God, and be our Lord, save our children and our families from the terrors and fears that torment them. Give them the courage to seek Jesus and abandon their own ways, give them the strength to comprehend Your great love. Let them know that You are with them and will never leave them or forsake them. Keep them in Your perfect peace and surround them with those who know the love and comfort of a Risen Savior. Give us the joy of worshipping with them and calling You Lord God Almighty in one voice and one spirit, the Spirit of our Holy God.

Bless Israel with peace and strength, bless our nation with the wisdom to follow Your teachings, defend us from the invaders who have crept in through lies and deception.

Bless your Holy name, the faithful God who never leaves us or forsakes us.

In Christ alone
