We ask

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us… Ephesians 3:20

Father, we cannot think Your thoughts, we cannot know the depths of Your love. We do not understand what You are able to do, we are tied to this earth. So we thank you for the Word that tells us You can do far more than we can ask or think. So today we ask, we think and we know it is a small thing for You. We ask that our children and families live in the Grace and Truth You have sent us. We pray for their deliverance, we pray for their healing, and we ask for a restoration and new beginning for all of them. Let them have a new work done in them. Bring them into the kingdom. Bring them in because our hearts are weary and hurt. We have turned to You for comfort, we have trusted You with their lives, but today we ask for the joy and the gift of celebrating Jesus with our children and families. We humbly ask that You transform them for Your glory and our joy. We ask that they be a witness to the world of the power of the Holy Spirit to change and to heal and to redeem. We pray and we think about the unspeakable gift of worshipping You with them, and seeing the salvation of the Almighty work in their lives. Father, we ask and we think.
