“Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew? Job 38:28
LORD God, You are our Father, and the Father of all things. You fathered the rain and the dew. You created the clouds that bursts forth with water, and You are the God of the sun that gives us light. We cannot stop the rain or hold back the waves, we are Your children and You are the LORD God of the creation. You formed our children in Your image, and You desire that they fellowship with You throughout all time. We rest in the God Who laid the foundation of the earth. You love them and You love us, have mercy on them
. We pray that they will see the great power of a God Who makes the rain to fall and forms the dew on the leaves. Reveal to them that You are God. Everything under heaven belongs to You, Father, give them the humility to serve You. Let them be healed, both their bodies and their minds so that they can run to Your arms. Bless them and keep them,
Bless Israel with the hope of the Messiah. Protect them and protect Jerusalem. The enemy is growing in strength, but You have already told us Your plans, and we praise You for the salvation of Your people. Bless our nation by revealing our sins and bringing us to repentance. Let us stand with Israel and Your Holy name. Bless us by restoring our hearts to be tender and willing to repent.
We praise You and we give the God of the heavens all the praise and glory
In Christ alone
