The mercy of God

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. Isaiah 55:8

LORD God Almighty, we are not able to see and know what You have done, we are instead, limited to our thoughts and feelings. We get discouraged, we become tired, we find it impossible to forgive when we are wronged. O LORD God, have mercy on us. We scheme and try to bring about our will and impose our ways on others. Forgive us and restore us, let us go out in joy. Let us trust that Your Word will not return to You void but will succeed in the lives of our children and families. We submit ourselves to You and we pray. We pray and ask that they will seek You while You can be found and call upon You while You are near. Let them go out in joy and be led in peace to Your throne. Give them the bread of Life and satisfy their longings with the Water that washes all the sin away. We ask that You pardon them abundantly and they live in the service of the God of the universe.

Bless Israel with peace and give Jerusalem the desire to see their King. We pray that they have wisdom and the eyes are opened to You. Give the soldiers courage and steadfast faith in the LORD God. We pray for our military. We ask You to lead them and guide them as they face the enemy. You hold the hearts of the kings in Your hands, we pray that the deception that is sweeping over the world will be destroyed. Give us wisdom as a nation and deliver us from evil.

We praise the God Who is beyond our thinking, and we ask to love You all the days of our lives. In Christ alone
