Streams in the Desert

For I will pour water on the thirsty land,

and streams on the dry ground;

I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring,

and my blessing on your descendants.

They shall spring up among the grass

like willows by flowing streams. Isaiah 44:3-4

Father, our God, we turn our hearts to You, our LORD, and we praise You this morning. We pray, we repent, we are heard by the mighty God, we are Yours. We ask for water on the thirsty land of our hearts and we pray for streams on the dry ground of our children’s and families’ hearts. We pray for Your Spirit to be poured out on them. We pray that they spring up among the grass like willows beside flowing streams. We pray for Your blessings on them and we desire to hear them say “I am the LORD’s”. Bless them Father, our LORD and let the water of Life pour out on them.

We pray for Your Holy Spirit to be poured out on Israel and let Jerusalem live in peace. Bring them to the mighty Savior and give them the desires of their hearts.

Bless our nation with the streams in the desert and show us how to live in the dry places while we wait on You. We pray that You take the leaders and rulers of this nation and anoint their ears to hear and their hearts to follow You. We pray to live in a quiet and peaceful land while we trust in You,

In Christ alone
