One God, One Lord

yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. 1 Corinthians 8:6

God, our Father, Who is both Lord and Savior we come before You this morning and we honor You, the One Who created all things and Who gives us life. We praise You and we earnestly desire that our children and families have this knowledge. We desire that they no longer follow the world and its gods, but instead they believe in the Creator and Your Son. Give them the wisdom to know that all thing come from You. The world follows prescribed behaviors to bring them to peace within themselves because they are weak. Let our families be strong and not weak. Keep them from finding comfort with the enemy. Pursue them to the ends of the earth and make them strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Break down the strongholds that grips them and keeps them from knowing that You are the true and only God and Your Son is our Lord. Set their hearts ablaze with desire for You and give them rest and peace as they bow before Your throne. We give thanks to the God of the universe Who loves us and desires all to be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Bless Israel and give Jerusalem peace. Give them hope and as the world rages against them, let them call You LORD God Almighty. Comfort them and hold them as the weep in the night. Bless our nation with the revelation that there is no other way but the Cross to receive eternal life. Forgive us and heal us, let us be known to the world and give us the gift of Your presence. Return to us and bring us to repentance.

We praise the God of all and the Lord of Life.

In Christ alone
