Humble yourselves

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5: 6-7

 

Father, we give You, our mighty God, all of our concerns and fears today. You told us to give them to You because You care. 


Sometimes, we forget that You care for us and that You care about our families and You love them more than we can.


We give You our doubts, our hurts, and our hopes. Bless them with peace and wisdom. Reveal to their hearts Your mighty love. The love that cares, no matter what they have done or how far they have run from You. Bless them with mercy and stir their hearts toward You.

Heal their rebellion and deliver them from evil.


Bless Jerusalem with peace and give Israel the humility to receive Jesus.


Bless our nation with understanding of our need for You. We pray for humble leaders with the wisdom to know that You care for us.


You, our mighty God, are amazing and we bow before You.
