His thoughts are not ours

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55: 8-9 

LORD God, YAH-WEH, mighty God, Your thoughts are higher than ours are, and You see and know things we cannot understand. Your ways are higher than ours and we cannot see the way You are moving. Our sin nature wants to be afraid, hurt, and angry when our families do things that are against You. But You are our God and we know that You have a plan for them. A plan that has not yet been revealed, but a plan that says not one of Yours will perish.

Give us a love and trust for You that overrides our human fears. Teach us to know You. You are always faithful to restore Your children. Give us a willing heart to serve You. Bless our children and families with faith so they may trust Your ways and not their own. Free them and show them that Your ways are greater than the lies of the enemy. Heal the sick and forgive the ones walking in sin. Anoint them all to be servants of the most High God. Restore them to trust Your thoughts, even when they cannot understand them. Let them call You LORD.

We ask for the salvation and peace of Israel. Let them come into the full knowledge of Jesus and walk in peace and joy. Protect them during this war. Give our nation’s leaders wisdom. Expose the corruption so we can repent and turn to You. Forgive our sins and bring justice to those who are weak.

Let us humbly believe that You, the most High God, are incomprehensible and yet You are love.
