God, a consuming fire

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29

Father, we are thankful for You. You are removing what can be shaken out of our lives and what remains is Your Kingdom. We are looking forward to today and seeing Your hand in our lives. Let us worship You today and be thankful. Our amazing God who loves us, thank You.

Bless our children and families with an awareness, an excitement about our coming King. Give them a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Plant in them a great desire to endure the shaking and love You for You. Let them worship You with reverence and awe, reveal Yourself to them and let them see You and love You. Deliver them from evil and let their hearts be humble before You.

We see the lies that are growing louder about Israel. We are crying out for Your great hand to rescue them. Comfort them, reveal Jesus to them as they return to You. Bless them.

Deliver our nation from sin. We repent and turn to You. Lead our leaders so we might declare Your glory in the heavens. Take the hearts of our leaders in Your hands and show us, as a nation, the might of our God.
