Deliver us

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.” Psalm 138:7

Father, there is trouble all around us. We see it on the faces of the people around us. We hear it on the lips of our neighbors and even our own families. Anger and the hate are growing against Your people. Lawlessness is abounding everywhere we look. We ask You to stretch Your hand against the enemy who seeks to overcome our children and families.

We pray that Jesus would deliver our children and families from the wrath of the evil one. Cover them with the banner of Your Love that heals and defeats the schemes of the enemy. Preserve them and give them everlasting life. Let them sing and praise You forever and ever in Your Holy Presence. We pray for their healing, and we pray for their salvation. Let Your mighty right hand reach out and bring them into glorious life with You.

Bless Israel and preserve their lives, give them hope and faith. Deliver them with Your right hand and bring them to safety.

 Bless our nation and protect us during this time of trouble. The nation is under great pressure from without and within. We are tested. Forgive us as we repent and turn from our sins. Heal our land, for You alone can stretch out Your hand, create a universe, still the waters, or rebuke satan. We praise You in all things.
